Snowflake Administrator

Job Description :

- Design and implement Snowflake data warehouses on Azure, ensuring optimal performance and scalability for client's data needs.

- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of Azure resources for Snowflake deployments, ensuring consistency and efficiency.

- Manage and monitor Snowflake environments, including user access, security policies, and resource utilization, to maintain data integrity and compliance.

- Optimize Snowflake query performance through indexing, partitioning, and other techniques, improving data access speeds for business users.

- Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to develop and implement data pipelines that load, transform, and analyze data in Snowflake, supporting data-driven decision-making.

- Troubleshoot and resolve Snowflake-related issues, providing timely support to internal teams and clients to minimize downtime.

- Implement and maintain data security measures, including encryption, access controls, and data masking, to protect sensitive data.

- Develop and maintain documentation for Snowflake environments, including architecture diagrams, configuration settings, and operational procedures, ensuring knowledge sharing and maintainability.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and manage Snowflake data warehouses, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.

- Proven expertise in using Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of Azure resources, enabling Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

- Strong understanding of Azure cloud services, including compute, storage, and networking, to effectively deploy and manage Snowflake environments.

- Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation tasks related to data engineering and infrastructure management.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.

- Ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems related to Snowflake and Azure environments, ensuring timely resolution.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Adaptability to work in a remote/hybrid work environment, collaborating with teams across different locations.
