Overview :

The Sr Technical Lead will focus on developing scalable APIs and backend services for the SmartVault and OCMP platforms using the Node/MEAN stack, leading the team in building robust, full-stack solutions for secure storage and campaign management.

Responsibilities :

- Develop microservices and event-driven architectures using Kafka : Design Node.js-based services with Express.js for REST endpoints, integrate Kafka producers/consumers for async event handling (e.g., file uploads triggering notifications), and decompose monoliths into scalable MEAN-aligned microservices.

- Implement authentication systems, billing modules, and campaign management APIs : Build JWT/OAuth auth with Node.js middleware, Stripe/PayPal-integrated billing for subscriptions/usage metering, and Express.js APIs for campaign CRUD operations, all persisting in MongoDB schemas.

- Collaborate with frontend and DevOps teams for integration : Align MEAN stack APIs with Angular frontends (e.g., via Swagger docs), support Docker/K8s deployments, and ensure seamless data flow in CI/CD pipelines.

- Optimize database queries and backend performance : Tune MongoDB aggregation pipelines/queries with Redis caching for sessions/hot data, profile Node.js apps (Clinic.js), and implement clustering/load balancing for high concurrency.

Required Skills :

- Proficiency in Java, Node.js, Kafka, and Redis.

- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and scalable system design.

Leadership Focus : Mentor juniors on MEAN best practices and code reviews.
