Role Overview :

As a Database Administrator with strong DevOps skills, you will complement our Engineering team's capability to foster our "you build it, you run it" culture.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement data processing in a big data environment.

- Database design and management in a cloud environment.

- Build and sustain the pipeline of data ingress, processing, and data distribution.

- Identify the most efficient technology approach to implement business logic.

- As a liaison into the larger DevOps organization, ensure alignment with the strategic technology approach and DevOps concepts.

- Maintain working relationships with technical counterparts at vendors and external partners.

- Implement monitoring and alerting to support the team in reaching customer-related SLAs.

- Manage engineering and production costs in our cloud environment.

- Identify and track SLAs for regular review.

- Collaborate with our Support team to build the tool set that feeds into productive customer communications.

- Identify areas where to apply managed services over self-hosted solutions.
