Skeps - Engineering Manager - Backend Architecture

Were looking for an Engineering Manager to lead and scale multiple technical teams driving our Generative AI infrastructure. Youll manage end-to-end product delivery, mentor senior engineers, and ensure alignment between business vision and engineering execution.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage, mentor, and grow engineering teams across backend and platform layers

- Define technical strategy and align it with product and company goals

- Drive execution of large-scale projects and ensure timely delivery

- Maintain engineering quality standards, system reliability, and performance

- Foster a collaborative, ownership-driven engineering culture

- Partner with cross-functional leaders in product, AI research, and DevOps

Required Qualifications :

- 6 to 12 years of software engineering experience, with 3+ in management

- Proven ability to lead high-performance teams and ship scalable systems

- Expertise in backend architecture, distributed systems, and microservices

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)

- Strong communication, technical planning, and stakeholder management skills
