Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps & Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure, automate deployment processes, and ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of applications running on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Azure cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Kubernetes, monitoring, and production support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

- Manage and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure, including Virtual Machines, AKS, Azure Storage, Networking, and other Azure services.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.

- Implement and manage containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).

- Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Prometheus, and Grafana.

- Implement Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices, including SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, and error budgets.

- Identify and troubleshoot infrastructure, application, and deployment-related issues.

- Lead incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and preventive action implementation.

- Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, security, and cost efficiency.

- Implement automation using PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripting.

- Manage Azure networking, security configurations, access controls, and disaster recovery.

- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to improve deployment frequency and system reliability.

- Ensure production environment stability through proactive monitoring and automated recovery mechanisms.

Required Technical Skills:

- Cloud Platform: Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.

- DevOps Tools: Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, Repos, Boards, and Artifacts.

- CI/CD: Pipeline creation, automation, release management, and deployment strategies.

- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.

- Containerization: Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).

- Monitoring & Observability: Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.

- Scripting: PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

- Version Control: Git, GitHub, or Azure Repos.

- Operating Systems: Linux and Windows administration.

- Networking: Azure Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, DNS, VPN, NSG, and Application Gateway.

- SRE Practices: Incident management, RCA, capacity planning, performance optimization, SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs.

- Security: Azure IAM, RBAC, Key Vault, secrets management, and security best practices.

Mandatory Requirements:

- 6 - 10 years of overall experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.

- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps.

- Practical experience in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines.

- Good understanding of SRE principles and production environment management.

- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code.

- Strong troubleshooting, automation, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to manage critical production incidents and ensure service availability.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-400, or AZ-305.

- Experience with high-availability architecture and disaster recovery.

- Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.

- Experience with cloud cost optimization and security compliance.

- Exposure to GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.
