We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to manage and optimize enterprise application infrastructure, middleware platforms, and system reliability. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Linux administration, Apache Tomcat, automation, and infrastructure security within on-premises environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage, maintain, and optimize enterprise application infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.

- Administer and optimize Apache Tomcat servers and associated middleware components.

- Maintain and secure the web and application layers by identifying and remediating vulnerabilities.

- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure stable and secure production environments.

- Develop automation scripts using Python or Bash to streamline infrastructure management and operational tasks.

- Monitor system health, troubleshoot production issues, and perform root cause analysis.

- Manage infrastructure secrets, certificates, and credentials using Key Vault or equivalent secret management solutions.

- Implement system hardening, security best practices, and patch management for enterprise environments.

- Support incident response, problem management, and continuous service improvement initiatives.

- Participate in infrastructure upgrades, maintenance activities, and disaster recovery planning.

Required Skills :

- 5-8 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Linux Administration, or Infrastructure Operations.

- Strong hands-on experience with Linux system administration and Bash scripting.

- Deep expertise in Apache Tomcat administration and performance tuning.

- Good understanding of Apache Web Server, Apache ActiveMQ, and middleware services.

- Experience managing enterprise on-premises infrastructure and application environments.

- Strong scripting and automation experience using Python or equivalent technologies.

- Experience with Key Vault or similar enterprise secret management solutions.

- Knowledge of infrastructure security, vulnerability management, and system hardening.

- Strong troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance optimization skills.

- Experience working with ITIL processes and production support in mission-critical environments is preferred.

Education (Mandatory) :

- Full-time B.E./B.Tech, MCA, M.Tech, MS, or M.Sc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
