Position Lead / Manager Engineer

Your Role and Responsibilities :

- Write high-performance and sustainable back-end applications using Python programming language and the Django framework.

- Contribute to solution design and architecture while working closely with senior engineers to ensure scalable and maintainable systems.Implement new features and proactively optimise the existing code.

- Integrations with third-party systems like Payment gateways and Channel managers.

- Implement and uphold engineering best practices, including code reviews, design discussions, and adherence to the development lifecycle..

- Mentoring junior backend engineers.

- Own and optimize infrastructure costs, ensuring efficient use of resources.

- Monitor infrastructure usage and work with the team to optimize costs where possible.

Required Skills :

- Strong technical background with expertise in software development, architecture

- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

- Experience with creating RESTful JSON APIs.

- Expert in problem-solving skills, algorithms, and data structures.

- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on quality, productivity, and timely delivery.

- Knowledge of Ubuntu, and experience in git(or any sub-version system).

- Ability to translate project or business requirements into clear engineering plans.

- Self-motivated and organised, able to handle deadlines and drive improvements.

- Proficiency in the latest technologies and trends

- Expert in Linux commands and AWS basics.
