A Salesforce CPQ Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Salesforce CPQ solutions to automate and optimize the quote-to-cash process. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in configuring and customizing Salesforce CPQ for complex pricing models, billing, contract management, amendments, discounting, and integration with OmniStudio.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement Salesforce CPQ solutions for pricing models, billing, contracts, amendments, and discounting workflows.

- Configure and customize CPQ modules including product configuration, pricing rules, quote templates, and contract lifecycle

management.

- Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce CPQ and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and OmniStudio components.

- Lead technical design and implementation of Quote-to-Cash solutions, including proof of concepts and prototypes.

- Optimize CPQ solutions for business needs, focusing on automation, process improvements, and best practices.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams, and global IT to recommend and implement technical solutions.

- Manage data migration, environment management, release management, and deployment methodologies.

- Document technical and functional solutions, present options to stakeholders, and ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 4 - 8 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce CPQ development and configuration.

Strong expertise in :

- Product configuration, pricing rules, quote templates

- Contract lifecycle management and amendments

- Complex discounting and billing workflows

- Experience with OmniStudio, Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware.

- Knowledge of Salesforce best practices, governance, and release management.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in Agile or collaborative environments.

Preferred Skills :

- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce CPQ Specialist, OmniStudio Developer, or Salesforce Platform Developer.

- Experience in Quote-to-Cash implementation projects.

- Exposure to advanced pricing models, subscription management, and revenue recognition processes.
