Network Aruba Engineer

Job Description :
The Network Engineer (L3) will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise network solutions, focusing on SD-WAN, SD-LAN, and WiFi technologies from Cisco and HPE Aruba. This role requires deep technical expertise in network architecture, troubleshooting, and optimization to ensure high availability, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Configuration & Optimization : Configure routers, switches, access points, and security policies to enhance network performance.
- Troubleshooting & Support : Provide L3-level support for complex network issues, ensuring minimal
downtime.
- Security & Compliance : Implement security best practices, including firewall policies, VPN configurations, and access control.
- Monitoring & Performance Management : Utilize network monitoring tools to analyze traffic patterns and optimize performance.
- Documentation & Training : Maintain detailed network documentation and provide training to junior engineers.
- Collaboration : Work closely with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to align network strategies with business goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- WiFi Networking : Experience with Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC), HPE Aruba Instant APs, and WiFi optimization.
- Routing & Switching : Advanced knowledge of Cisco IOS, NX-OS, and ArubaOS.
- Security & VPN : Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, and network access control (NAC).
- Network Monitoring Tools : Experience with Cisco Prime, Aruba Central, SolarWinds, or similar platforms.
Certifications (Preferred) :
- HPE Aruba : ACMP, ACCP, ACDX
- SD-WAN : Cisco SD-WAN Specialist, Aruba SD-Branch certifications
Experience :
- Hands-on experience with Cisco and HPE Aruba SD-WAN, SD-LAN, and WiFi solutions.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues at an L3 level.
