Job Description :
We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Functional Engineer M2O (Make-to-Order) to support, optimize, and enhance our end-to-end digital processes within the M2O value stream. The ideal candidate will have strong functional knowledge of sales, configuration, quoting, order management, and manufacturing execution processes, combined with hands-on experience working with enterprise digital platforms.
This role requires the ability to partner closely with business stakeholders, process owners, and technical teams to ensure seamless integration of business requirements into scalable digital solutions.
The Digital Functional Engineer will be responsible for analyzing current M2O workflows, identifying gaps, designing improvements, and supporting digital transformation initiatives. This includes working across CPQ, CRM, ERP, PLM, and manufacturing systems to improve data quality, enhance visibility, and streamline the customer-to-product journey.
Key Responsibilities :
- Serve as the functional expert for M2O processes including configuration, pricing, quoting, order intake, engineering hand-off, and production alignment.
- Partner with business teams to gather requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and guide technical teams during implementation.
- Support digital platforms such as CPQ tools, CRM (Salesforce/SAP), ERP (SAP/Oracle), PLM, and associated M2O applications.
- Analyze business processes, identify optimization opportunities, and contribute to digital transformation roadmaps.
- Ensure data integrity across configuration, BOM generation, order management, and engineering documentation workflows.
- Lead system testing, validation, UAT, and post-deployment support to ensure smooth delivery of enhancements.
- Troubleshoot process and application issues, recommend solutions, and drive continuous improvements.
- Develop process documentation, user guides, training materials, and functional workflows.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, sales operations, supply chain, and IT teams to ensure synchronized M2O execution.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5 - 10 years of experience in M2O, CPQ, or digital manufacturing processes.
- Strong knowledge of ERP/CRM/CPQ ecosystems.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
