Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced Shopify Architect to lead the development and optimization of e-commerce platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Shopify ecosystems, expertise in headless frameworks, and strong leadership capabilities to oversee e-commerce operations.

This role involves architecture design, platform management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless performance of e-commerce systems and deliver a superior customer experience.

Key Responsibilities :

Architecture and Platform Management :

- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance e-commerce architectures on Shopify.

- Lead the integration of headless commerce solutions and ensure seamless functionality with other systems and APIs.

- Optimize the platforms for performance, reliability, and usability.

- Collaborate with IT and web development teams to implement new features and resolve technical issues.

E-commerce Strategy & Planning :

- Develop and align e-commerce platform strategies with business goals.

- Stay updated with the latest e-commerce trends, technologies, and best practices.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to define platform requirements and long-term objectives.

Development Leadership :

- Guide and mentor the development team in implementing best practices for Shopify and Magento.

- Oversee the implementation of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure).

- Ensure that coding standards and security protocols are met across all projects.

Data Analysis & Reporting :

- Utilize data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to monitor platform performance and customer behavior.

- Generate detailed reports on key metrics such as page load times, conversion rates, and traffic patterns.

- Use insights to continuously improve platform functionality and customer experience.

Customer Experience :

- Ensure that the platforms deliver a seamless and positive shopping experience.

- Collaborate with UX/UI teams to implement user-friendly interfaces and navigation.

- Address and resolve platform-related customer issues promptly.

Vendor & Partner Management :

- Manage relationships with third-party vendors, including payment gateways, logistics providers, and marketing agencies.

- Negotiate contracts to ensure cost efficiency and high service standards.

Compliance & Security :

- Ensure that all e-commerce activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

- Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect customer data and prevent fraud.

Skills and Qualifications :

- Proven experience in Shopify architecture and development.

- Expertise in React.js, Node.js, Vue.js, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

- Strong understanding of headless commerce frameworks and cloud-based solutions.

- Proficiency in RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

- Excellent analytical skills and familiarity with tools like Google Analytics and Excel.

- Deep understanding of UX/UI principles and SEO best practices.

- Experience managing teams and collaborating in fast-paced environments.

- Knowledge of digital marketing tools and strategies, including SEM and email marketing.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Certification in Shopify development or related areas is a plus
