Required Skills & Qualifications :

3+ years of hands-on testing experience in ServiceNow platform.

Strong understanding of :

- Custom App development and testing

- UI Builder

- GRC Modules (Policy & Compliance, Risk, Audit, etc.)

- ServiceNow Integrations using REST/SOAP APIs

- Experience in writing and executing manual test cases.

- Knowledge and hands-on experience with ServiceNow ATF (preferred but not mandatory).

- Proficient in JavaScript and Glide scripting.

- Understanding of REST APIs and ability to test ServiceNow integrations.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices and SDLC.

- Excellent communication, documentation, and client interaction skills.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Test Strategy and Planning

Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases for :

- Custom applications built on ServiceNow

- UI Builder components

- Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) modules

- Third-party and internal integrations

- Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback on completeness, clarity, and testability.

2. Test Execution & Reporting

Conduct various types of testing, including :

- Functional

- Regression

- Integration

- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

- Identify, document, and track defects and work closely with development teams for timely resolution.

- Analyze test results to provide meaningful quality metrics and insights.

3. Test Automation (Good to Have) :

- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test cases using ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).

- Collaborate with development teams to integrate ATF into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring faster feedback and high-quality deployments.

4. Technical Skills

- Use JavaScript, Glide scripting, and REST APIs to test and validate ServiceNow functionality.

- Leverage knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture to understand potential test impact areas.

5. Agile/Scrum Participation

- Work in Agile/Scrum teams, participate in daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

- Collaborate with Product Owners and Developers to ensure clear understanding of requirements and proper test coverage.

6. Stakeholder Communication

- Work directly with clients, business analysts, and technical leads to gather test requirements and deliver testing results.
- Provide consultative input on test strategies, risk identification, and defect prevention.
