Job Overview :


We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Technical Lead to design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in the ServiceNow platform, strong architectural knowledge, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable, automated solutions. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, compliant, and high-performing ServiceNow implementations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications, modules, and integrations.

- Translate business outcomes into technical specifications and workflows.

- Define and enforce development, security, documentation, and system health standards.

- Lead regular patching, upgrade planning, and implementation efforts.

- Conduct quality assurance, test planning, execution, and defect resolution.

- Ensure platform stability through health monitoring, remediation, and performance management.

- Lead DevOps implementation for ServiceNow (CI/CD, ATF, Git integration).

- Build complex workflows, business rules, client/server scripts, and automations using Flow Designer.

- Develop robust integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, MID Servers, and third-party connectors (Microsoft, AWS, Azure, Jira, etc.).

- Maintain and enhance CMDB health and discovery capabilities with ITOM modules.

- Identify automation and digitization opportunities for process improvement.

- Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and user guides.

- Ensure platform compliance with IT security, data privacy, and audit requirements.

- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure best practices.

- Provide on-call production support and ensure timely resolution of incidents.

- Stay current with ServiceNow releases, recommending and implementing platform enhancements.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).

- 8+ years of progressive experience in ServiceNow development and platform architecture.

- Strong expertise in Configuration Management, CMDB, and CSDM.

- Hands-on experience with ITSM, ITOM, IRM/GRC, and other key ServiceNow modules.

- Proven experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Strong scripting skills in JavaScript, Glide API, and working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and AngularJS.

- Experience with Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth2, and MID Servers.

- Exposure to AI Search, Virtual Agent, Performance Analytics, and Predictive Intelligence.

- Familiarity with App Engine Studio, UI Builder, and Workspaces.

- Strong understanding of data modeling, process automation, and scalability strategies.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Certifications :

- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)

Preferred Attributes :

- Experience with HRSD, CSM, Citizen Development, and/or custom scoped applications.

- Proven ability to lead end-to-end project execution, engaging cross-functional teams effectively.

- Experience with enterprise-level upgrades and release readiness testing.

- Curious mindset and commitment to continuous learning and innovation within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
