Job Title : ServiceNow Service Portal Developer.

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Service Portal Developer to design, develop, and implement customized Service Portal solutions within the ServiceNow platform.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, AngularJS, Bootstrap) and a strong understanding of the ServiceNow framework, including widgets, UI pages, and client/server scripting.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow Service Portals, widgets, and custom UI components.

- Customize out-of-the-box ServiceNow modules to meet business requirements.

- Collaborate with process owners and business analysts to translate requirements into functional portal solutions.

- Implement responsive, accessible, and user-friendly UI designs using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and AngularJS.

- Integrate Service Portal with Service Catalog, Knowledge Base, Incident, and other ITSM modules.

- Optimize portal performance and ensure consistent branding across the platform.

- Develop and maintain client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, business rules, and other custom code as needed.

- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation of customizations.

- Stay up to date with ServiceNow releases, best practices, and UI/UX trends.

Required Skills And Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 56 years of experience working with ServiceNow (at least 3+ years in Service Portal development).

- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS, Bootstrap.

- Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, tables, and data model.

- Experience creating and customizing ServiceNow widgets and UI pages.

- Familiarity with REST/SOAP API integration within ServiceNow.

- Knowledge of ITIL processes and ServiceNow ITSM modules.

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or higher certification.

- Experience with ServiceNow Scoped Applications and UI Builder.

- Familiarity with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, or Now Experience (UI Framework).

- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development practices.
