ServiceNow ITOM Developer

Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced ServiceNow ITOM Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of the IT Operations Management (ITOM) modules within the ServiceNow platform, including Discovery, CMDB, Service Mapping, Event Management, Cloud Management, and Orchestration.

Key Responsibilities :

- Implement and configure ServiceNow ITOM modules (Discovery, CMDB, Event Management, Orchestration, Service Mapping, Cloud Management).

- Customize and enhance ServiceNow ITOM applications and facilitate the rollout of new features and enhancements.

- Develop integrations between ServiceNow and other systems using APIs, MID servers, and orchestration.

- Maintain and improve the CMDB to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

- Design and implement Discovery patterns and probes to identify and map IT infrastructure.

- Support operational teams by configuring Event Management and setting up alerts and remediation flows.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Create and maintain technical documentation related to architecture, configuration, and development.

- Work closely with the ServiceNow platform team to ensure ITOM best practices are followed.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 3+ years of experience with ServiceNow platform with a focus on ITOM.

- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.

- Experience with MID Server architecture, credentials, and probe configuration.

- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, REST/SOAP integrations, and ServiceNow scripting.

- Knowledge of ITIL v3/v4 frameworks and ITSM/ITOM concepts.
