Service Owner - Sharepoint

Description :

The Service Owner is accountable for end-to-end delivery of File Services, ensuring value creation for the business. This includes defining service strategy, managing the roadmap, prioritizing initiatives, budgeting, vendor negotiations, and authorizing new capabilities. The role drives service maturity, sets performance metrics, and ensures alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define the service scope, primary use cases, and associated business value.

- Develop and maintain service roadmap (1 - 3 year vision).

- Manage service capacity, features, resiliency, and cost optimization.

- Benchmark costs, service levels, and risk profiles (security, scalability, resilience).

- Ensure compliance with SLAs and manage vendor relationships.

- Maintain service catalog and technical documentation.

- Lead migrations, automation initiatives, and platform optimization projects.

- Provide regular reporting on KPIs, risks, and opportunities to leadership.

- Demonstrate expertise in Microsoft technologies, especially File Services (OneDrive, SharePoint, Azure File Services).

- Ensure adherence to security principles and compliance standards.

Technical Skills :

- Expertise in File Services : SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure File Services.

- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, Power BI, Compliance/Purview).

- Proficiency in PowerShell for Office 365 administration.

- Good understanding of Azure Cloud.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.

- Ability to prioritize tasks and work autonomously under pressure.

- Strong team collaboration and crisis management capabilities.

Experience & Education :

- Minimum 5 years in File Services administration (SharePoint/OneDrive).

- Significant IT experience with Microsoft O365 and Azure stack.

- Experience managing outsourcing contracts, KPIs, and SLAs.

- University degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.

- ITIL v3/v4 and Microsoft certifications preferred.
