Role Summary :

Looking for a hands-on Rocket Software Enterprise Server professional to provide L1/L2/L3 support for rehosted mainframe applications. The candidate will be responsible for Enterprise Server administration, production support, troubleshooting, environment maintenance, and supporting COBOL/JCL-based workloads.

Key Responsibilities :

- Administer and maintain Rocket Software Enterprise Server environments.

- Create, configure, and manage Enterprise Server regions, JES, Catalog Services, Fileshare, CAS, and MFDS.

- Build, maintain, backup, recover, and troubleshoot catalog.dat repositories.

- Perform region startup, shutdown, recovery, cloning, refreshes, and patch upgrades.

- Monitor and troubleshoot Enterprise Server, JES, Fileshare, Catalog, and runtime issues.

- Support spool management, housekeeping activities, INTRDR, and cross-region batch processing.

- Troubleshoot batch abends, JCL failures, COBOL runtime issues, VSAM access problems, and file contention issues.

- Support application deployments, migrations, SIT/UAT activities, and production cutovers.

- Perform root cause analysis and support disaster recovery activities.

- Maintain operational and recovery runbooks.

- Build and configure Enterprise Server environments independently.

- Create and recover catalog.dat, JES, Fileshare, and MFDS repositories.

- Troubleshoot Enterprise Server infrastructure and rehosted application issues.

- Analyze COBOL/JCL/VSAM-related production problems.

- Support deployments, migrations, and production cutovers.

- Independently handle L1/L2/L3 incidents and platform recovery activities.
