Role Description :

We are seeking a Senior Visualization Engineer Power BI with strong

expertise in designing and delivering enterprise-grade dashboards and data visualization solutions. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in BI and analytics, deep knowledge of Power BI architecture, DAX, and PowerQuery, and proven ability to translate complex business requirements into insightful, user-friendly visualizations.

Role Responsibility :

- Design, develop, and optimize Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models to provide actionable business insights.

- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and design wireframes/mockups

for dashboards.

- Build and maintain data models (Star/Snowflake schema, measures, calculated columns)

using DAX and Power Query (M).

- Manage Power BI Service : workspaces, datasets, dataflows, gateway connections, row-level

security (RLS), and access permissions.

- Optimize performance of reports and datasets (query folding, aggregations, incremental

refresh).

- Collaborate with data engineers/DBAs to ensure high-quality, reliable data sources.

- Establish and enforce BI governance, version control, and best practices in visualization

design.

- Mentor junior analysts/engineers and provide technical leadership in BI projects.

- Support ad-hoc data analysis and visualization requests from business teams.

- Stay updated with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Fabric, Azure Synapse, AI integration)

trends and recommend adoption where applicable.

Role Requirement :

- 2+ years of experience in Business Intelligence / Data Visualization.

- Strong expertise in DAX, Power Query (M), data modeling, and building optimized semantic models.

- Experience with SQL Server, Azure SQL, Synapse, or other enterprise databases.

- Hands-on experience with Power BI Service/Cloud : workspaces, security, publishing, and governance.

- Solid understanding of data visualization principles, storytelling, and UX design.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate complex data into clear insights.

- Excellent communication skills for engaging with business stakeholders and leadership.

Additional Requirement :

- Experience implementing row-level security (RLS), object-level security (OLS).

- Microsoft Certification : PL-300 (Power BI Data Analyst) or PL-600 (Power Platform Solution

Architect).

Soft Skills :

- Good stakeholder management and requirement-gathering skills.

- Ability to mentor, coach, and guide junior BI developers.

- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in teams.
