Senior Virtualization Engineer - Cloud HyperVisor

Role Overview :

Key Responsibilities :

- Troubleshoot hypervisor-level and VM-level issues in production systems

- Optimize performance across compute, networking, and storage layers

- Debug and fine-tune Cloud Hypervisor and Libvirt configurations

- Support virtualization networking (bridging, VLANs, SDN) and storage (NFS, etc.)

- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for critical incidents

- Automate tasks using scripting (Python / Golang / Bash)

- Document best practices, configurations, and incident learnings

Required Skills :

- Hands-on experience with Cloud Hypervisor configuration and troubleshooting

- Solid understanding of virtualization networking (bridges, VLANs, SDN)

- Experience with storage systems in virtualized environments (NFS, etc.)

- Knowledge of hardware virtualization and NUMA optimization

- Strong debugging and performance tuning skills

- Scripting experience (Python / Golang / Bash)

Good to Have :

- Exposure to Linux kernel or low-level system internals

- Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)

- Knowledge transfer and team enablement sessions
