Senior VBA Developer -

About the Role :

Your solutions will help drive data-driven decision-making and unlock productivity across teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Build user-friendly dashboards, templates, and forms for business users.

- Create and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) into MS Access and Excel-based systems.

- Maintain data consistency and integrity across platforms.

- Analyze existing manual processes and recommend automation solutions using VBA.

- Identify performance bottlenecks in Excel applications and implement improvements.

- Work with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored VBA solutions.

- Participate in discussions to scope new initiatives or enhance current tools

- Implement rigorous error-handling, testing frameworks, and debugging methods to ensure reliability.

- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for VBA applications in production.

- Create clear documentation and guides for end-users and internal stakeholders.

- Train business users on using automated Excel/VBA tools when necessary.

Required Qualifications :

- 4+ years of hands-on experience with VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) in Excel

- Strong expertise in Excel automation, advanced formulas, and data visualization

- Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL queries for MS Access or other relational databases

- Solid understanding of database design, data manipulation, and ETL processes

- Experience working with large datasets and optimizing Excel performance

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail

- Good understanding of Python and its integration with Excel (preferred but not mandatory)

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Experience working in agile teams or freelance settings, with a proactive and independent approach
