This is a high-impact role where you will lead the architecture and design of mission-critical systems that power user engagement for thousands of global brands.

What Youll Do

- Architect highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant backend systems handling billions of events and terabytes of data.

- Design real-time campaign processing engines capable of delivering 10 million+ messages per minute.

- Lead development of complex analytics frameworks including cohort analysis, funnel tracking, and user behavior modeling.

- Drive architecture decisions on distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native platforms.

- Define technical roadmaps and work closely with engineering teams to ensure alignment and execution.

- Collaborate across product, engineering, DevOps, and data teams to deliver business-critical functionality.

- Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering excellence through code and design reviews, best practice evangelism, and training.

- Evaluate and implement tools and frameworks for continuous improvement in scalability, performance, and observability.

What You Bring

- 12+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering with a strong foundation in Java or Golang and related backend technologies.

- Proven experience designing distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures.

- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code.

- Strong understanding of data processing at scale using Kafka, NoSQL DBs (MongoDB/Cassandra), Redis, and RDBMS (MySQL/PostgreSQL).

- Exposure to stream processing engines (e.g., Apache Storm/Flink/Spark) is a plus.

- Familiarity with AI tools and their integration into scalable systems is a plus.

- Experience with application security, fault tolerance, caching, multithreading, and performance tuning.
