The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for the support, management, and maintenance of the enterprise server and infrastructure environment, including hardware, operating systems, virtualization platforms, and core Microsoft services. The role supports both hosted and on-premise environments and requires strong expertise in Microsoft technologies, virtualization, storage, and enterprise infrastructure.

The ideal candidate is a technically strong, customer-focused professional who can work independently or as part of a team, demonstrating a Company/Team-first mindset while delivering high-quality operational support.

Key Responsibilities :

Infrastructure & Systems Support :

- Provide day-to-day support for the Enterprise Computing environment, including servers, storage, virtualization, and core IT services.

- Support and manage :


1. HP & Cisco UCS Servers

2. HP Nimble Storage

3. Virtualization platforms : Microsoft Hyper-V and/or VMware (Server & Desktop)

4. Microsoft Azure

5. Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, Exchange, Office 365

6. PowerShell scripting for automation and administration

7. Anti-virus solutions (Microsoft Defender and/or SCEP)

8. Enterprise backup solutions (DPM and/or VEEAM)

Operations & Incident Management :

- Provide timely support for incidents and service requests through the Incident Management tool and direct IT requests.

- Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of system and infrastructure issues.

- Ensure system availability, performance, and reliability.

Change & Service Management :

- Participate in Change Management processes, including change planning, implementation, validation, and post-change support.

- Represent infrastructure teams in change review meetings as required.

- Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and changes.

Education & Qualifications :

- 3+ years of telecom or enterprise network experience required.

- Strong ability to interface effectively with management, customers, and operational teams.

- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies and enterprise infrastructure.

- Experience supporting on-premise and hosted environments.

- Knowledge of server hardware, storage systems, virtualization, and cloud services.

- Experience with enterprise security, backup, and monitoring solutions.

- Familiarity with ITIL-based Incident and Change Management processes.
