Senior System Engineer - Model Based Development

Role Overview :

We are hiring a Senior System Engineer with strong expertise in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), system architecture, and aerospace/UAV platforms. You will lead end-to-end system design, integration, validation, and certification for advanced UAV systems, working across multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and manage system architecture, subsystems, interfaces, and specifications

- Apply MBSE methodologies (SysML, MATLAB/Simulink, Cameo) for system modeling and simulation

- Lead requirements capture, traceability, and configuration management using DOORS, Jira, Confluence

- Drive system integration, testing, validation (V&V), and certification activities

- Develop test strategies, SOPs, validation frameworks, and participate in real system-level testing

- Ensure compliance with MIL-STD, DO-178C, DO-254, DO-160, AS9100 and other aerospace standards

- Manage end-to-end product lifecycle (PLM/PLC) from design to deployment and support

- Perform RCA, CAPA, and reliability improvements for system-level issues

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including avionics, software, electronics, manufacturing, and supply chain

- Drive technical decisions, design reviews, and engineering excellence

- Work on UAV systems including propulsion, avionics, sensors, communication, and payload

integration

Must-Have Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in MBSE (SysML, Cameo, MATLAB/Simulink)

- Expertise in system architecture, requirement flow-down, traceability, and configuration

management

- Experience across full system lifecycle (design integration testing validation deployment)

- Strong exposure to system integration, testing, and V&V frameworks

- Deep understanding of aerospace/defense standards (MIL, DO-178C, DO-254, DO-160,

AS9100)

- Experience in RCA, CAPA, and structured problem-solving

- Hands-on with tools like DOORS, Jira, Confluence

- Working knowledge of Python for debugging, automation, and analysis

- Bachelors or Masters in Aerospace / Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Systems Engineering

Good to Have :

- Experience in product-based or engineering-driven companies (Aerospace, UAV, Robotics,

Automotive)
