Role Summary :

We are seeking an experienced System Engineer (L2) with strong hands-on expertise in Linux administration and a solid foundation in Desktop Support/End-User Support.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and optimizing Linux-based systems, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and ensuring overall infrastructure stability and security.

Key Responsibilities :

Linux System Administration :

- 6+ years of overall IT experience, including 3+ years in Linux system administration.

- Strong expertise in Linux OS (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).

- Manage, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).

- Perform routine system checks, patching, upgrades, and kernel updates.

Server & Infrastructure Management :

- Troubleshoot L2-level server issuesOS, network, hardware, virtual machines.

- Manage users, groups, permissions, sudo policies, and security hardening.

- Perform system backups, restore activities, and maintain DR readiness.

End-User & Desktop Support (L1/L2 Support Background) :

- Address escalated end-user technical issues efficiently.

- Provide advanced Windows/Linux desktop troubleshooting.

- Support application installation, system configuration, and remote assistance.
