Are you passionate about real-time data, low-latency pipelines, and streaming analytics at scale? Our team is looking for a hands-on Senior Streaming Data Engineer with deep expertise in Confluent Cloud Kafka and Apache Flink to help build the next generation of data-in-motion platforms.

What Youll Do :

- Design, implement, and optimize high-throughput Flink streaming jobs

- Administer and operate Confluent Cloud Kafka environments

- Write and fine-tune complex Flink SQL

- Implement enterprise-grade security: TLS, RBAC/ACLs, schema governance, secrets management, audit logging

- Collaborate with Engineering, SRE, and Product teams on SLAs/SLOs, data contracts, and reliability standards

- Review designs/PRs and mentor engineers on streaming best practices

- Contribute to platform standards, patterns, and documentation

What Were Looking For :

- 7+ years building streaming/data-in-motion solutions

- 3+ years with Kafka (Confluent Cloud preferred)

- 3+ years hands-on with Apache Flink (including Flink SQL)

- Proven expertise in writing & optimizing complex Flink queries

- Strong troubleshooting skills across Kafka + Flink ecosystems

- Excellent communication and documentation abilities

- Ability to translate requirements into scalable, robust streaming designs

Bonus Points For :

- Experience with Confluent Cloud Flink, ksqlDB, or Kafka Streams

- Cloud experience (especially Azure)

- Familiarity with observability tools like Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana
