About the Role :

We are looking for an exceptional Senior Staff Engineer to join our engineering leadership team.

This is a high-impact, hands-on technical role where you will drive the architecture, design, and development of scalable and secure systems.

As a senior technical leader, you will guide cross-functional engineering teams, influence technology direction, and ensure alignment with business goals and engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide technical leadership across multiple engineering teams or domains.

- Lead design reviews, establish coding standards, and enforce best engineering practices.

- Partner with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

- Drive engineering excellence through mentorship, code quality, performance optimizations, and continuous improvement.

- Make high-level decisions on technology stack, infrastructure, tooling, and frameworks.

- Conduct proof-of-concepts (POCs) for emerging technologies and evaluate their fit within the existing architecture.

- Own and guide key technical roadmaps and long-term engineering strategies.

- Identify and mitigate technical risks and provide solutions to complex technical problems.

- Act as a technical mentor and role model for engineers across the organization.

- Influence hiring and onboarding processes by participating in technical interviews and evaluations.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 8+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2+ years in a Staff Engineer or equivalent role.

- Proven experience in system design, distributed systems, cloud architecture, and modern engineering practices.

- Expertise in at least one major programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Go, C++, Node.js).

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.

- Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization.

- Experience with event-driven architectures, API design, messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
