Role : Backend Staff Engineer / Senior Staff Engineer

Location : Bengaluru (Hybrid)

Experience : 4 to 12 years

Role Overview :

As a Backend Staff / Senior Staff Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture, scalability, and reliability of our platform. This role demands deep technical expertise, strong ownership, and a passion for building robust, secure, and high-performance systems.

What Youll Own :

- Architect and enhance backend systems with a focus on scalability, performance, and reliability

- Build high-quality services using Ruby on Rails, Node.js, and React

- Partner with cross-functional teams in an agile scrum environment

- Design, implement, and optimize RESTful APIs and secure authentication workflows

- Write clean, maintainable, object-oriented code aligned with best engineering practices

- Work extensively with SQL databases (PostgreSQL preferred)

- Implement secure identity and access workflows using LDAP, SAML, OAuth, OpenID, SCIM

- Contribute to modern, accessible UI implementations that align with core UX principles

Your Technical Toolkit :

- 4 to 12 years of experience building enterprise-grade software systems

- Strong proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language

- Solid understanding of distributed systems, debugging, and problem-solving

- Hands-on experience with Git, Jira, Azure DevOps

- Clear communicator with a collaborative, ownership-driven mindset

- Ability to learn quickly, adapt, and think creatively

- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
