Job Description:
The Senior Specialist Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) is responsible for the day-to-day execution of the enterprise TPRM framework. This role ensures third-party risk activities are completed accurately, consistently, and in accordance with the global TPRM framework.
The Senior Specialist, reporting to the TPRM Senior Manager, serves as an execution specialist within the TPRM day-to-day operating model and plays a key role in supporting technology, automation, and AI-enabled capability build-out.
Program Execution & Operational Delivery:
- Execute third-party risk assessments across the full lifecycle, including onboarding, due diligence, ongoing monitoring, issue management, and offboarding.
- Perform control reviews, risk tiering, and control validation in alignment with the global TPRM framework.
- Ensure all assessments, decisions, and supporting documentation are completed accurately and on time.
- Track remediation actions and corrective action plans, following issues through to closure.
Governance & Compliance:
- Maintain strong documentation, traceability, and audit readiness for all assigned third-party risk activities.
- Support audit, regulatory, and compliance reviews by providing accurate documentation and data.
- Escalate material risks, data issues, or process deviations in line with defined governance protocols.
Operational Excellence:
- Support efficient and consistent execution of standardized risk processes across suppliers and regions.
- Maintain high data quality within TPRM systems, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
- Identify recurring issues, inefficiencies, or process gaps and propose practical improvements.
- Support tracking and reporting of KPIs and KRIs related to third-party risk operations.
Technology Enablement, Automation & AI Support:
- Execute daily activities within approved TPRM technology platforms and tools.
- Support implementation and enhancement of automation and AI-enabled capabilities, including:
1. AI-assisted due diligence and screening
2. Automated document review and data extraction
3. Continuous risk and performance monitoring
- Provide feedback to leadership on system performance, usability, data issues, and enhancement opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Procurement, IP, Compliance, Legal, Information Security, and other risk domain teams to identify, assess and manage third party risks.
- Act as an execution partner to regional and global TPRM leadership.
- Support consistent communication and follow-up with internal stakeholders related to third-party risk activities.
Continuous Improvement & Capability Building:
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in process efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness.
- Support updates to job aids, and training materials as frameworks and tools evolve.
- Build personal expertise in third-party risk management, regulatory expectations, and AI-enabled risk practices.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in engineering, risk management, compliance, information systems, or a related field.
- 58+ years of progressive experience in third-party risk management, audit, procurement operations, or related roles.
- Experience executing risk assessments, due diligence, or control-based operational processes in a regulated industry.
- Hands-on experience with TPRM platforms, GRC tools, or supplier risk systems.
- Exposure to automation, analytics, or AI-enabled tools in risk, compliance, or operational environments strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, execution discipline, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and comfort working in a global, matrixed environment.
