Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer - NetBackup/Cohesity Products

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute detailed manual test cases and test scenarios.

- Perform functional, regression, system, and integration testing across on-premise and cloud platforms.

- Analyze requirements, identify gaps, and ensure thorough test coverage.

- Use scripting (in Golang and Python) to support test execution, validation, and automation support where needed.

- Identify, report, and track defects using appropriate tools and methodologies.

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure timely and high-quality product releases.

- Document test results, maintain testing logs, and support release documentation.

- Ensure adherence to QA best practices and processes.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Strong background in Software Quality Assurance (SQA) and manual testing methodologies.

- Working knowledge of Golang and Python for scripting purposes.

- Proficiency in working across Windows and Linux environments.

- Hands-on experience in testing applications deployed in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and on-premise

infrastructure.

- Excellent communication, reporting, and documentation skills.

- Prior experience with NetBackup or similar data protection/backup solutions is a strong plus.
