We are Currently hiring Senior Software Engineer-Ruby on Rails(RoR) role for an esteemed IT Services company.

Location : Remote

Shift : Australian Shift (7 am-4 pm)

Designation : Senior Software Engineer- Ruby on Rails

Yrs of Exp : 8+ yrs

Education Criteria : Only BE/Btech/ME/Mtech only from Top Tier Colleges/Institutes

JD :

- Design, implement, and maintain features in a Ruby on Rails service for the payment offering on the BigCommerce platform.

- Ensure functionality is production-grade, with the appropriate test coverage on all layers, instrumentation in place, and documentation.

- Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to post-incident reviews to improve reliability.

- 7+ years of professional backend development experience, with a strong focus on Rub on Rails.

- Solid understanding of building and operating production-grade systems (e.g. you know your way around logs, traces, metrics, feature flags, and can debug live traffic issues).

- Familiarity with observability tooling (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry and Lightstep).

- A good understanding of Domain Driven Design.

- Demonstrated experience integrating with third-party APIs and services, particularly those with nuanced state transitions (like payment flows).

- Ability to write testable, maintainable, and clean code, and familiarity with continuous integration/deployment practices.

- A product-focused mindset - you care about the "why" behind the work. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Experience in payments, fintech, or ecommerce platforms is a strong plus.
