Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Python and Django.

- Collaborate with product, design, and frontend teams to deliver seamless end-to-end user experiences.

- Build and optimize scalable systems capable of handling high traffic and large data volumes.

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices.

- Participate in architectural discussions, technical decision-making, and code reviews.

- Work across the full development lifecycle - design, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring.

- Implement and maintain CI/CD workflows and production infrastructure on AWS or other cloud platforms.

- Evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and tools to continuously improve development efficiency and product quality.

- Troubleshoot and resolve performance, scalability, and reliability issues in production.

- Prioritize high-impact features and deliver value with a customer-first mindset.

Requirements:

- 6+ years of work experience with strong CS fundamentals.

- Expertise in Python. (we use Django)

- Knowledge of frontend JS frameworks like React, Angular, etc (we are ReactJS)

- Strong expertise in databases (MySQL or others)

- Devops experience working with AWS / Other cloud platforms.

- Understanding of Software Engineering best practices.

- Previously worked on user-facing products with scale.

- Open-source contributions with a GitHub link are a plus.

- Track record delivering apps / large software projects.

- Enthusiasm for evaluating new services and technologies.

- Ability to prioritize the biggest bang for buck features/projects
