Job Description :

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Road Safety software team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that deliver maximum business value. The role involves contributing across the software development lifecycledesign, coding, testing, and deployment while following industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop efficient, maintainable software solutions based on requirements and design specifications.

- Write clean, optimized code using Python and other scripting/programming languages.

- Utilize frameworks, libraries, and reusable components to accelerate development.

- Follow software engineering best practices : secure coding, code reviews, version control, build automation, and testing.

- Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, and effort estimation.

- Support testing, deployment, and maintenance by resolving bugs and implementing enhancements.

- Design software architecture, including modules, layers, and design patterns.

- Mentor and guide junior developers.

- Collaborate with stakeholders during workshops and technical discussions.

Skills & Qualifications :

- Core Python : 4 - 6 years of hands-on development experience.

- Strong understanding of OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) concepts.

- Experience working on Linux platforms.

- Familiarity with C++, PHP, JavaScript is a plus.

- Experience with development and collaboration tools : Jenkins, Testlink, SVN, GitHub, JIRA.

- Adaptable and eager to learn new technologies as required.
