About the Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Financial Services team and contribute to building scalable, high-performance cloud-based applications.

This role is ideal for passionate engineers who enjoy solving complex technical problems, building modern distributed systems, and working across both frontend and backend technologies.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Full Stack development using NodeJS or Python for backend development and React for frontend development, along with experience in scalable messaging systems, cloud-native architectures, and modern databases.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative FinTech and payment products in a fast-paced product engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deliver scalable, high-performance cloud-based software solutions across frontend and backend systems.

- Build modern web applications using React, TypeScript, NodeJS, and/or Python.

- Develop scalable backend services, APIs, and distributed systems.

- Work with messaging and event-driven systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Redis.

- Design and optimize database solutions using PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases like MongoDB.

- Collaborate with architects and engineering leaders on technology choices and product roadmap decisions.

- Participate in system design discussions and contribute to scalable architecture decisions.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure engineering best practices, code quality, and performance standards.

- Mentor and guide junior engineers and team members.

- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Skills & Experience :

Mandatory Requirements :

- 6+ years of experience in Software Development.

- Strong backend development experience using Python or NodeJS.

- Strong frontend development experience using React.

- Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript.

- Experience working with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Redis.

- Strong database experience with PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.

- Prior experience working in Product-based companies is mandatory.

- B.Tech or Dual Degree (B.Tech + M.Tech / Integrated MSc/MS) from Tier 1 Engineering Institutes.

- Candidates from other institutes will only be considered if they have experience in top-tier product

companies.

- Ability to build scalable, performant, and high-quality cloud-native applications.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience working on FinTech, Payments, POS, or Retail products.

- Experience mentoring, coaching, and guiding engineering teams.

- Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalable architectures.

- Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
