Senior Software Engineer - .Net Development

Job Summary & Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and web services using .NET Framework (4.8+) and .NET Core (up to latest version).

- Deliver end-to-end features in Agile/Scrum methodology with tools like Jira, GitHub/Bitbucket, Azure DevOps.

- Implement and maintain RESTful APIs with ASP.NET Web API, utilizing JWT token authentication.

- Work on both Application Development (AD) and Application Maintenance & Support (AMS) projects.

- Integrate with external systems, including Payment Gateways and POS systems (advantageous).

- Manage data access and manipulation using SQL Server and optionally MongoDB.

- Develop and schedule background services using Cron Jobs and integrate Kafka queues for asynchronous processing.

Skills and Experiences required :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience working on enterprise-scale projects as a Sr Developer/ Sr Software Engineer/ Sr Lead.

- Must have hands-on experience in both App Development (AD) and App Maintenance &

Support (AMS) projects.

- Agile/ scrum delivery using GitHub/ BitBucket/ Azure DevOps/ Jira is a must.

- Experience in/ knowledge of Airline-Retail industry (Retail segment of Airlines) is preferred.

Payment Gateway/ POS expertise/ awareness would be added advantage.

- Must have excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills is mandatory.

- Candidate must have a learning and collaborative mindset while working on tasks independently without much assistance.

- .NET Backend Developer Web Services, API's and SQL Server, SSRS (Advantage)

- APIs : ASP.NET Web APIs with JWT token authentication

- Database : SQL Server, Mongo DB (knowledge on this is added advantage)

- Queues : Kafka

- Framework : .NET Framework (need from at least 4.8 framework version), .NET Core till latest

- Build : Jenkins

- Deployment : Octopus

- Scheduler : Cron Jobs

- Logging : New Relic

- Source Repository : GitHub

- Reports : SSRS (Added Advantage)
