Senior Software Engineer - Java/Python

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Software Engineer to join our Productivity Team. The ideal candidate will take a technical leadership role in guiding the team, driving best practices, and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to design and deliver solutions (tools, automation, services) that enhance organizational efficiency and improve customer experience.

As a lead Engineer of this team, you will also mentor a team of engineers, provide hands-on technical guidance and support in building solutions that will eventually be an enabler for different business units across Komprise.

Responsibilities :

- The tasks are often unstructured and the issues to handle are less defined, requiring fresh perspectives along with creative approaches.

- To apply experiences and knowledge in solving problems that are complex in nature and need in-depth investigation and evaluation.

- To demonstrate judgment in not only solving the given problems but to identify problems proactively and suggest plausible solutions.

- Should be able to design and implement highly performant, scalable systems catering to different internal/external problem statements.

- Drive architecture decisions, code quality standards, and engineering best practices.

- Work closely with Engineering, Product Managers, Support, Customer Success and other teams to understand needs and translate them into actionable technical requirements.

- This individual must work effectively with immediate team members along with required stakeholders involved in the project.

- Need to be self-driven and hence limited supervision and direction are provided, as this individual can operate, drive results and set priorities independently.

- The ideal candidate will be a proactive contributor and subject matter expert.

- To be successful, this individual must demonstrate favorable results through regular leadership and influence.

Requirements :

- 6-8 years of hands-on experience in software development.

- BE/MS Computer Science or equivalent.

- Prior experience of Experience working in a productivity, or Solutions (tool/Services) focused engineering team is plus.

- Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages (e. g., Java, Python).

- Experience in architecting, designing and building internal tools, automation, microservices or workflows.

- Solid understanding of distributed systems, APIs, databases, and cloud platforms (AWS /Azure).

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work across the Business Units in Komprise.

- Proven experience leading projects, mentoring engineers, or playing a tech-lead role.
