About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Java/J2EE and modern web application development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across backend, frontend, databases, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, a solid understanding of engineering best practices, and experience in building scalable enterprise-level applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications.

- Build and enhance application components using Java/J2EE and related frameworks.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, well-tested software solutions.

- Develop responsive UI components and ensure seamless integration with backend services.

- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to solution design for complex business requirements.

- Ensure best practices around coding standards, testing, CI/CD, and deployment processes.

- Troubleshoot, optimize, and support application performance.

- Support the delivery of enterprise-scale applications in an Agile environment.

Requirements :

Technical Skills :

- Java/J2EE development experience building enterprise-grade web applications.

- Hands-on experience with Hibernate, RESTful Services, Spring (JDBC, MVC, etc.).

- Strong UI development skills using React.js, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.

- Solid experience with Oracle PL/SQL and SQL for database programming.

- Working experience with Oracle WebLogic, Tomcat including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

- Experience with API Management and cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.

- Good understanding of DevOps tools: Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, etc.

- Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD), automation, and unit testing practices.

- Experience architecting and developing large-scale, enterprise-level applications.

Additional Skills :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Experience working in Agile development methodologies.

- Experience in building applications for the financial services industry is a plus.
