Senior Software Engineer - Java/AngularJS

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions within an Agile POD-based environment. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, QA, and Architecture to build scalable, reliable, and high-performance applications while contributing to technical excellence and continuous improvement. This role is hands-on and execution-focused, bridging solution design and implementation without people management responsibilities.

The core responsibilities for the job include the following :

Software Development and Implementation :

- Design, develop, and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following coding standards and best practices.

- Participate actively in code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.

POD-Based Execution :

- Work as a core contributor within Agile POD teams, collaborating with Product Owners, Architects, and QA engineers.

- Take ownership of assigned features and deliverables across POD stages.

- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of tasks aligned with sprint goals.

Solution Design and Collaboration :

- Collaborate with Solution Architects and Product teams to understand functional and technical requirements.

- Translate design specifications into efficient technical implementations.

- Contribute to technical discussions and suggest improvements to existing systems.

Testing, Debugging and Deployment :

- Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure software quality.

- Identify, debug, and resolve technical issues across the development lifecycle.

- Support deployment activities and ensure production stability.

Continuous Improvement :

- Identify performance bottlenecks and contribute to system optimization.

- Participate in improving development workflows, automation, and system reliability.

- Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose relevant enhancements.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in software development within an Agile environment.

- Strong expertise in programming languages and frameworks : Java, Angular.

- Solid understanding of databases : MongoDB, SQL, NoSQL.

- Experience working with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and POD-based execution models.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in e-commerce or OOH (Out-of-Home) advertising technology.

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, and project dashboards.
