Role : Software/Sr Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with experience in C#.NET development, Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), and Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N2 or N1 certified). The ideal candidate will work closely with global teams, particularly Japanese stakeholders, to develop, customize, enhance, and support LIMS applications while ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using C#.NET and related Microsoft technologies.

- Configure, customize, and support LIMS solutions based on business requirements.

- Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Collaborate with Japanese clients and business teams for requirement gathering, issue resolution, and project coordination.

- Develop and maintain APIs, integrations, and database components.

- Perform code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization.

- Prepare technical documentation, user manuals, and support materials.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum development activities.

- Provide production support and troubleshoot application issues.

Required Skills :

- 2- 7 years of hands-on experience in C#.NET development.

- Experience working with LIMS platforms (LabWare, STARLIMS, LabVantage, SampleManager, or similar).

- Strong knowledge of :

1. C#.NET

2. ASP.NET / .NET Framework / .NET Core

3. SQL Server

4. Web Services / REST APIs

5. Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)

- Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC).

- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Japanese Language Requirements :

- JLPT N2 or JLPT N1 certification is mandatory/preferred.

- Ability to communicate effectively with Japanese stakeholders through verbal and written communication.

- Experience in Japanese client-facing projects is an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in Pharma, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or Laboratory domains.

- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.

- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure is a plus.

- Experience with version control tools such as Git, Azure DevOps, or SVN.

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

Nice to Have :

- LIMS implementation or migration project experience.

- Experience working in global delivery environments.

- Understanding of laboratory workflows and compliance standards.
