Senior Software Engineer - Backend Architecture

We are seeking a passionate Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality server-side applications while mentoring and guiding junior engineers. You will collaborate closely with product managers and UX designers to translate requirements into robust and scalable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement scalable server-side applications using Node.js and JavaScript.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine product requirements and provide technical solutions.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to software development best practices.

- Implement unit testing strategies to ensure reliability and robustness of software components.

- Monitor engineering metrics to optimize the performance and reliability of production systems.

- Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues across the software development lifecycle.

- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance engineering culture.

Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 610 years of hands-on experience in software development, with expertise in Node.js and JavaScript.

- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design of efficient software solutions.

- Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).

- Familiarity with Go or Python is a plus.

- Proven experience in unit testing and code review processes.

- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
