We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer Azure Services with strong hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in building scalable backend services, integrating Azure PaaS components, and implementing secure, high-availability solutions.
This role involves close collaboration with product, DevOps, and architecture teams in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications and services on Microsoft Azure.
- Build and manage Azure services including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, and Azure Storage.
- Develop and expose RESTful APIs and microservices using modern backend frameworks.
- Implement authentication and authorization using Azure Active Directory (Azure AD).
- Design scalable and resilient systems using Azure PaaS and serverless architectures.
- Work with Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Blob/Table/Queue Storage for data persistence.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize applications using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and performance best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design sessions.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical documentation.
- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications :
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with strong exposure to Azure cloud services.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services such as :
a. Azure App Service
b. Azure Functions
c. Azure Service Bus / Event Hub
d. Azure Storage
e. Strong programming experience in C# (.NET / .NET Core) (Java / Python experience is a plus).
f. Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and microservices architectures.
- Solid understanding of cloud security concepts, including identity, access management, and secrets management.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (Azure SQL, Cosmos DB).
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and basic Kubernetes concepts.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting cloud applications.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Good-to-Have Skills :
- Experience with AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service).
- Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code using ARM Templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
- Exposure to event-driven architectures.
- Experience with message queues and streaming platforms
