Role Overview :
Collabera is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in backend development, API design, and AWS cloud services.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable, high-performance APIs and working in cloud-native AWS environments.
Proficiency in .NET Core or Node.js is required.
Exposure to AI/ML or modern AI-assisted development practices is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs
- Build and deploy microservices-based architectures on AWS
- Develop serverless and event-driven solutions using AWS services
- Ensure high performance, security, and reliability of backend systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Implement unit tests and follow Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices
- Participate in code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and production support
Mandatory Technical Skills :
- 6+ years of hands-on software development experience
- Strong proficiency in one primary backend language :
- .NET Core OR Node.js
- Solid experience in API development (RESTful APIs, microservices)
- Strong understanding of web application architecture and backend integration
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including:
- AWS Lambda
- Amazon SQS
- Amazon SNS
- Experience with additional AWS services such as :
- API Gateway
- DynamoDB
- CloudWatch
- Amazon S3
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Good understanding of TDD and unit testing practices
Preferred Qualifications :
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts or AI-assisted development tools
- Experience designing cloud-native, scalable backend systems
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
