Senior Software Engineer - API Development

Job Description :

API Development & Integration :

- Design and develop REST/SOAP APIs using Java technologies.

- Build integrations between core business applications and third-party systems.

- Develop reusable services and integration components.

- Support API lifecycle management, versioning with Gitlab CICD pipelines, and documentation.

- Perform API testing using Postman, Swagger, and similar tools.

Required Technical Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot.

- Strong experience in REST and SOAP API development.

- Experience in third-party system and enterprise application integration.

- Good understanding of API lifecycle management and API versioning.

- Hands-on experience with Git, GitLab, and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience with Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI for API testing and documentation.

- Strong knowledge of JSON, XML, WSDL, and XSD.

- Familiarity with API gateways and middleware/integration platforms.

- Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases, such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.

- Experience with JUnit and Mockito for unit testing.

- Knowledge of Maven/Gradle build tools.

- Familiarity with SonarQube and code quality practices.

- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
