About the Role :

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong backend engineering experience to work on next-generation - 3-D Secure (3DS) authentication and payment transaction-processing systems .

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop high-availability 3DS Access Control Server (ACS)- systems aligned with EMVCo 3DS 2.x- specifications.

- Implement and maintain frictionless, challenge, and decoupled authentication flows.

- Work with cryptographic message construction, validation, JWS/JWE, and 3DS protocol messaging.

- Integrate with card-scheme - Directory Servers- such as Visa, Mastercard, and Amex.

- Build transaction-processing pipelines for authorization events, fraud signals, and decisioning.

- Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, indexes, queries, and connection pooling for high-throughput workloads.

- Develop and maintain scalable microservices and REST APIs.

- Deploy and operate production services on AWS , with exposure to GCP environments.

- Ensure reliability, observability, security, and cost efficiency of production systems.

- Work with PCI-DSS, EMVCo, and applicable regulatory requirements.
