Job Description :

We are looking for a skilled Python Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications, APIs, and database integrations.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Python and backend frameworks such as Django or Flask, along with expertise in API development, database management, application performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop scalable, maintainable, and high-performance backend applications using Python.

- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs for seamless communication between frontend applications, backend services, and third-party systems.

- Build and integrate backend services using frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

- Design and implement efficient SQL and NoSQL database integrations, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar databases.

- Work with ORM frameworks such as Django ORM or SQLAlchemy for efficient database operations.

- Develop robust server-side business logic, data processing workflows, and backend services.

- Integrate and manage third-party APIs and external services, ensuring reliable data exchange and error handling.

- Write unit tests and integration tests, troubleshoot defects, and perform root-cause analysis to maintain application quality.

- Optimize application performance, including API response time, database queries, memory utilization, and overall backend scalability.

- Implement secure coding practices, authentication, authorization, input validation, and protection against common application vulnerabilities.

- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and product stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.

- Participate in code reviews, debugging, documentation, and continuous improvement of backend systems.

Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Python and backend application development.

- Hands-on experience with Django, Flask, and/or FastAPI.

- Strong understanding of REST APIs and/or GraphQL.

- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or equivalent.

- Good knowledge of ORM concepts and database query optimization.

- Experience with unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization.

- Understanding of API security, authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices.
