Senior Software Developer - Python

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer with 7+ years of strong backend development experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable services, building robust APIs, and driving technical excellence across the engineering team.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, enhance, and maintain backend applications using Python.

- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservice-based architectures.

- Work closely with Product, DevOps, and QA teams to ship high-quality features.

- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

- Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of the application stack.

- Build automated tests and maintain CI/CD integration.

- Troubleshoot issues and provide long-term solutions to complex problems.

- Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical decision-making.

Required Technical Skills :

• SQL: MySQL / PostgreSQL
• NoSQL: MongoDB / Redis

- Good knowledge of Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience with cloud services (AWS preferred).

- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance-tuning skills.

Preferred / Good To Have :

- Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

- Knowledge of data engineering pipelines, Pandas, NumPy.

- Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration.

Exposure to serverless architecture (AWS Lambda).

Ability to guide teams and influence architecture.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Proven experience in delivering production-grade backend services.
