Role : Developer / Senior Software Developer - .NET & SQL

We are looking for a skilled Developer / Senior Software Developer - .NET & SQL to join our product engineering team.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality enterprise applications using Microsoft .NET technologies and SQL Server.

This role offers the opportunity to work across the full software development lifecycle while contributing to scalable, secure, and high-performance product solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Participate in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of applications.

- Analyze, document, and implement enhancements to existing systems and business processes.

- Design and develop clean, efficient, testable, and maintainable code using .NET technologies and SQL Server programming languages.

- Create and maintain technical specifications, system architecture documents, and design artifacts.

- Develop, test, and debug .NET applications and SQL Server components to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

- Review, refactor, and optimize existing code to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.

- Deploy fully functional applications and support production releases.

- Upgrade and enhance existing programs to align with evolving business and technical requirements.

- Document development standards, operational procedures, and system changes for ongoing support and maintenance.

- Provide technical guidance and mentoring support to junior developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality releases.

Technical Skills & Requirements :

- Strong hands-on experience with .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core) and SQL Server.

- Expertise in designing and consuming RESTful APIs and experience working with WCF services.

- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design (OOD) principles and design patterns.

- Experience with industry-standard development methodologies such as Agile/Scrum, TDD, and BDD.

- Proficiency with tools supporting SDLC, including Visual Studio, TFS/Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.

- Strong skills in writing optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and performance tuning.

- Experience in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical issues.

- Familiarity with deployment processes and production support in enterprise environments.

Experience & Qualifications :

- 4-14 years of relevant experience in software development using .NET and SQL Server.

- Experience working in IT product-based organizations is preferred.

- Exposure to mentoring or leading junior developers is an added advantage.
