Senior Software Developer - .Net/C#

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Software Developer to join a rapidly growing development team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise-grade web applications built on the Microsoft .NET technology stack.

You will collaborate closely with TPMs, Business Analysts, Developers, and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate should be technically strong, self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of mentoring junior developers while working on moderately to highly complex technical tasks.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using the .NET framework.

- Collaborate with TPMs, Business Analysts, and development teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Develop new applications and enhance existing systems following coding standards and best practices.

- Deliver assigned tasks within agreed timelines with high reliability and minimal functional or technical defects.

- Perform advanced troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis.

- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.

- Participate in technical discussions, estimations, and project planning activities.

- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.

- Ensure application stability through thorough testing and quality assurance practices.

- Create and maintain technical documentation throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Provide technical support and resolve application-related issues.

- Stay updated with emerging trends and advancements in .NET and web technologies.

Core Technologies :

- Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET Framework

- Experience with ASP.NET Web Forms / MVC

- Strong understanding of Entity Framework and LINQ Queries

- Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs

- Solid knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server

- Strong understanding of :

i. SQL Queries

ii. SQL Joins

iii. Stored Procedures

iv. User Defined Functions (UDFs)

v. Relational Database Design

- Front-End Technologies :

i. HTML

ii. CSS

iii. JavaScript

iv. AngularJS / Angular (preferred)

Additional Skills :

- Knowledge of version control systems, preferably SVN

- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities

- Ability to write secure, efficient, and well-documented code

- Strong communication and collaboration skills

- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment

- Attention to detail with strong defect identification skills

- Ability to mentor junior team members and conduct effective code reviews

- Capability to provide accurate task estimations

- Adaptability to learn new technologies and frameworks quickly

Experience Required :

- Minimum 45 years of professional software development experience using :

i. C#

ii. ASP.NET

iii. Microsoft SQL Server

iv. .NET technologies

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in :

i. Computer Science

ii. Information Technology

iii. Engineering

iv. or related technical fields (preferred)

- Graduates from other disciplines with relevant software development experience are also encouraged to apply.
