Senior Snowflake Developer - Visualization Tools

Job Summary :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and manage Snowflake components like schemas, tables, views, streams, and tasks.

- Implement and maintain ELT/ETL workflows from multiple data sources into Snowflake.

- Build and support dashboards and reports using a BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker).

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver accurate, actionable insights.

- Optimize query performance and ensure data quality, governance, and security.

- Document data flows, business logic, and technical specifications.

Required Skills :

- 6 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake.

- Strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, and performance tuning.

- Experience with any BI/visualization tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.).

- Good understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills :

- Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools like DBT, Fivetran, or Airflow.

- Knowledge of Python or scripting for data pipeline automation.

- Exposure to CI/CD practices in data environments.

- Snowflake or cloud platform certifications are a plus.
