About the Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Shopify Developer to lead the technical migration of our large-scale e-commerce platform, ShopLC.com, from Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) to Shopify Plus. This role demands strong hands-on expertise in Shopify Enterprise, deep understanding of modern e-commerce architecture, and proven experience in complex data, catalog, and system migrations.

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing a scalable Shopify Plus ecosystem while ensuring a seamless migration with minimal business disruption. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product, UX, QA, ERP, and marketing to deliver a high-performance, secure, and future-ready e-commerce solution.

Key Responsibilities :

Shopify Development & Customization :

- Design, develop, customize, and optimize Shopify themes, templates, and Liquid components.

- Build custom Shopify apps, scripts, and extensions where native Shopify functionality is insufficient.

- Deliver pixel-perfect, responsive, and high-performance front-end experiences across devices.

- Ensure clean, maintainable, and scalable code aligned with Shopify best practices.

Architecture & System Design :

- Define and implement a scalable Shopify Plus architecture to support enterprise-level e-commerce requirements.

- Design headless commerce solutions using Shopify APIs, Storefront API, and GraphQL where applicable.

- Architect solutions that support high traffic, large catalogs, and complex pricing/promotions.

- Optimize site performance for SEO, Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse scores, and accessibility compliance.

Migration Activities (SFCC ? Shopify) :
