Role Overview :

As a Senior Rust Engineer - Proxy Conversion & Business Logic you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining the core components of our high-performance proxy server infrastructure.

You will collaborate closely with a team of talented engineers, product managers, and security experts to build robust, scalable, and secure solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.

Your work will directly impact the performance and reliability of our proxy services, ensuring optimal user experience and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement high-performance, low-latency proxy server components using Rust, focusing on efficient protocol conversion and business logic execution.

- Develop and maintain robust APIs for internal and external services, ensuring seamless integration and data exchange.

- Collaborate with the security team to implement and enforce security best practices, mitigating potential vulnerabilities and ensuring data integrity.

- Optimize existing code for performance and scalability, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to improve overall system efficiency.

- Contribute to the design and implementation of distributed systems, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.

- Develop comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve the overall quality of the codebase.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to service availability.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in Rust programming, including experience with asynchronous programming, memory management, and concurrency.

- Proven ability to design and implement efficient algorithms and data structures for high-performance applications.

- Solid understanding of Linux operating systems and networking concepts, including TCP/IP, HTTP, and TLS.

- Experience with distributed systems architecture and design principles, including load balancing, caching, and fault tolerance.

- Strong knowledge of API design and development, including gRPC and RESTful APIs.

- Deep understanding of security principles and best practices, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques.

- Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment in Pune.
